The Illinois Central Railroad Water Tower and Pump House is located in the small Marion County, Illinois, city of Kinmundy. The Water Tower and Pump House has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1998. The site is one of two in the city of Kinmundy. The other listed place is the Calendar Rohrbough House. Kinmundy, with fewer than 900 people, is home to two of the six listed places in Marion County.^[1]
